For teachers
Our games are short, calm and free of ads, so they fit into a lesson without surprises. Here is how to use them with a group.
On the big screen
Connect an Android tablet to an interactive whiteboard, a projector or a TV and play together. Browser versions are in preparation; once they are available, you will be able to run the games straight from the classroom computer. The apps work offline, so weak school Wi-Fi is not a problem.
Movement games for the whole group
Bat Catcher and Driver are played with gestures in front of the device camera. Children take turns as players while the rest of the group counts, cheers and gives directions. Put the device on a stable stand at the height of the children’s hands and make sure the room is well lit. The camera image is processed on the device only – nothing is sent or recorded.
A 15-minute lesson plan: letters and stories
For preschool and early-school groups, with Letter Run and Storyteller.
- Warm-up (3 min). Lay three letter cards on the floor. Call out a letter; one child jumps onto the right card.
- Letter Run (5 min). Alphabet mode, slow pace, on the big screen. One child plays; the group calls out the next letter before the runner reaches the lanes.
- Storyteller (5 min). The group votes on who tells the story and on each choice in it.
- Wrap-up (2 min). Each child names one letter from the run and one moment from the story.
